We are delighted to announce the Start Up Britain Bus Seminar Sessions taking place at the Festival of Business on Friday 16th September 2016.

11.15am – David Bozward –  “What support is available in the Worcestershire? –  Startup ecosystem” Worcestershire has a wide range of support for starting and growing a business and in this session we explore what is available and where to find it.

12:30pm – Lucy Barkas –  What’s your USP – “How to connect with the WHY of your business”

1.15pm – Philip Fowler – “The 12.5 essential rules for startups” Anyone who has started their own business will have their own rules so I share my own rules for anyone starting a company or thinking of working for a startup.

1.45pm – Adrian Burden – “Making a Tech Startup a Success” – Technopreneurship requires an entrepreneur to balance business acumen with developing an innovative technology-based product or service. This means considering intellectual property, R&D, and manufacturing alongside all the usual issues of fund raising, marketing, and sales. This mini workshop will highlight some useful approaches and common pitfalls.

2.30pm – GetSet for Growth who deliver marketing advice and support to businesses within the county. They will be covering the importance of having a marketing plan and will give some useful hints and tips for effective marketing.

There is no need to book in advance. Each session lasts for 30 mins on the top deck.
