The NatWest Boost Business Bus will feature at the 4th Annual Worcestershire Festival of Business this Friday, 15th September in Worcester High Street. The converted vintage London double decker bus will be manned by local NatWest small business experts and local business advice organisations.

The bus will be the centrepiece of the Worcestershire Festival of Business which has Sanlam as its main sponsor with Worcester City Council, Worcestershire Ambassadors, Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce also providing sponsorship.

Local businessman and organiser of the event Stuart Allen said “This is the fourth year of the Worcestershire Festival of Business and after the huge success of running the event in Worcester City Centre last year, we are back again. This really is a unique business expo with most of the business exhibitors under market stalls along the High Street, as well as in the Guildhall. We have a very diverse range of businesses across the County and our exhibitors reflect that mix.”

The Worcestershire Festival of Business is an extension of #WorcestershireHour on Twitter, a twice weekly virtual networking event with a “Keep It Local” theme. The Festival of Business provides a platform to make virtual networking a physical event. The event is free to attend for all visitors and no registration is required. It will run from 9am to 4pm.

The Worcestershire Festival of Business will formally be opened at 9am at the Guildhall entrance by the Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Steve Mackay. “Independent businesses are the lifeblood of Worcester’s economy, and supporting them is a real priority for the City Council,” said the Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Steve Mackay.  “Come along to the Worcestershire Festival of Business and see for yourself the scale and variety of enterprise this city has to offer.”
